Same sex marriage

I never understood making same-sex marriage illegal. Even when I was a Christian I was for same sex marriage. Gay marriage is a personal choice and does not infringe on the rights of others.

Well, I don't think that you really understand much about marriage. It was never legalized for homosexuals, so that it would be made illegal for them afterwards. Likewise, I simply do not understand why people are trying to make this type of marriages legal.
It is a personal choice(?) however, it becomes public once a couple gets married.
