1002. Religion is not evil. People are evil. Until Americans learn to put the blame where it is due, America will continue to slip.

Without religion, there will be people who are good and will do good things, and people who are evil and will do evil things. But to make good people joyfully do copious amounts of evil things, that is religion.

So yes, until American learn to put the blame on christianity, the particular favor of religion which is its own original sin, it will indeed continue to slip.
