It is a known fact that you don't have to be gay to be a pedophile. In fact being gay has nothing to do with pedophilia.
There was a documentary on Channel 4 here recently (I forget what it was called), that covered this. Most of the abuse was in fact against girls but its the gay abuse that generates the press.
But to be honest it dosent matter what sex the victim was, abuse is abuse.
The documentary implied that because of the strange way the laws of the church operated the clergy looked on ANY sex as the same level of offence and would treat a peadophile the same as a priest who had relations with an adult
