My research Abraham was based on a popular god "Ishum." Ishum pleaded with the god Ira, after Ira destroyed 2 Baylonian cities for their sinful ways. Ishum became a local hero to the people of Ur....which BTW where Abraham was from. The god of the city of Ur was the moon god Sin. That was the god of Abraham, the symbol used in the Islam faith. Cosmically Abraham is represented by the constellation of Hercules....it's all in the book.
