He is very, very intelligent.
The guy went to Eton and got into Oxford, he's very well educated. He was, before becoming MoL, and still is, a monthly columnist for the Telegraph, one of the finest newspapers(as opposed to tabloid). Formally he was the editor of the Spectator. And when he was younger he wasn't connected like Cameron or Osborne, he was a Kings Scholar at Eton, meaning he was there on a scholarship, not because his family are stinking rich. Everything he has done has been from hard work and being smart. Ignore the weird hair and forced accent that stuck.
Not to mention his permanent sunny disposition.
Smart man is smart.

Hot tears of patriotic pride. Genius.

Quote:London Mayor Boris Johnson says suggestions that the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games was left-wing are "nonsense". The event, he says, left him with "hot tears of patriotic pride from the beginning".
