My optimism does not rest on belief in the general adaquacy of human race. My optimism rests on the belief that human race is specifically adaquate enough have given me a non-zero liklihood of surviving the inadaquacies of all the rest of you.



Also, I think Romney is winning hands down the race with Obama to go from empirical unelectability to mathematical unelectability.

I am beginning to think American political system is founded on the principle of two parties, with each party striving to fuck up so much so the onus of government will pass onto the other party, right now republicans are winning.
