Maybe it's just me, around here the only things we see on people's bumpers are 'mums taxi' and 'baby on board'.
Never seen the fascination with bumper stickers about evolution/religion. Just seems a typical American thing to do to me. "Oh look at me! Look over here! I believe in creationism!!! I want to tell the world!" Basically what I get from bumper stickers.
Really don't see the point.
Another unpopular comment is landing in 3, 2, 1... I think it comes down to how most American's views are completely polarized by their media. My liberal American friends are way too liberal; similarly, my right wing friends are so far to the right they've done a 180 and are in danger of becoming lefties. In that respect, bumper stickers are the perfect way to communicate an idea in 'merica.
