My eardrums are still ringing from 2009 when they were split from the deafening sounds of right wing shrieks when a federal report dared to point out a spike in activity in right wing hate groups that could lead to terrorist attacks and recruitment of returning military personnel. It came to be considered impolite to pay attention to surges in right wing violence.
