Why must Christian apologists tell lies?

I feel I dont need to, because regardless if the product is real or not. The manner "silmy used car salesmen" and apologists like William Lane Craig sell their product is practically identical.

I personally experienced through discussion forums and online chat, it is very difficult to identify certain forms of humor, unless the person puts a symbol like this at ;-)
