There are many kinds of Christians. Some are what I call "superstitious Christians". That's not meant to be denigrating. It's just another way of saying "Christians who believe in the supernatural". Another group to which I belong are what I call "rational Christians". Rational Christians don't accept the supernatural. We look on the supernatural as a metaphorical expression in order to tell an ancient story.
I still don't get how religion and disbelief can coincide with each other. I also think it was originally posed as a metaphor, and I totally agree that it's an ancient story. However I am not a Christian. Are you a Christian just for the tradition of it? If that's the case, aren't you still just an atheist that keeps tradition?
