The big difference is that the Daily Show can make a joke and everyone will know it's a joke but it will still make a legitimate point.

Tara, I think most of Limbaugh's listeners would say the same thing, that Rush can make a joke and everyone will know it's a joke but it will still make a legitimate point.

Still a big difference. Calling Chelsea Clinton ugly or Sandra Fluke a slut wasn't funny (not to mention, the exact wording of the Sandra Fluke comments showed an absurd lack of understanding of how the birth control pill works).
