I was raised Pentecostal, I'm told there is an especially bad part of hell for backsliders. It's just what they make up about hell to scare you into staying. That's the reason for hell in the first place: you instill the idea into the minds of children so they'll be too afraid to leave their parent's religion. It's a form of child abuse that can stick with you for life.
