As to what to wear, I'd suggest that you wear something that does not smell. It has to be fresh, and in unison with your overall outfit. Indeed, some girls might have special preferences in style. Dress accordingly.
I prefer to dress the way I like, so I generally get zero dates because I dress a bit too old-fashioned and...bydlo, sometimes, but recently I've began wearing sneakers and coloured shirts with designs on them aswell, in order to be more in touch with the masses, tainted by popular culture.
