Does scriptures say God made man's body in His image, or does it simply say man, because man is more than a body.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
IATIA Wrote:And if you will note, it does not say that we were made in god's image, it says we were made in their image. (whoever they were). It says nothing about the body. I can bring other verses, but I feel no need to enlighten your delusion. Again, I am an atheist. I do not consider this anymore valid than any other faerie tale.
They are what I've been telling you about, the triune Godhead, that means three, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We are body, spirit, and soul, we are three just as the Godhead is three.
They are three yet one God and we are three yet one person.
As I said, scripture says God created the whole man, it says nothing about creating man's body like God.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
