I don't know about that. I mean, sure, there are uninformed Democrats, but the Republican party seems to be the party that is encouraging stupidity lately. Santorum, the man who almost became the Republican nominee, called Obama a 'snob' for wanting to make sure everyone has he opportunity at an education. The Texas GOP party platform even attacked critical thinking skills. Science is just about under constant attack, whether they're talking about climate change or sexuality or evolution.
