I haven't heard it referred to as "Guy Fawkes Day" in a long time.
Here it's just bonfire night, where the intelligent go to a display and enjoy the fireworks, and the slightly less intelligent start bonfires in their garden with petrol and set themselves and often their houses on fire (My father is a fire fighter so I'm regularly told about rather terrible stories involving fires on bonfire night).
