(some interesting stuff regarding testing procedures and their ability to "look into the past" as it were - far less than law enforcement or some stoners would have you believe.)

Specifically with regards to a swab test, it might tell you that someone has smoked within the last 72 hours...but whether or not they are currently intoxicated...well....how precisely would that be determined by such a test? The best they can do is determine a level after which they will declare you intoxicated. Wouldn't bode well for habitual users (since the tests will return higher levels regardless of their current situation). I'd expect draconian statutes and enforcement to trail the heels of widespread legalization btw. Not because I'm a pessimist, but because draconian statutes and enforcement are a huge improvement over prohibition, but not a complete reversal of the current - current.....
