I'm very interested in religious experiences, mostly because I never had one myself. The problem with religious experiences is that they can be triggered by many different causes, and it's hard to figure out what actually happened.
It could be great if we could record the activity of the brain of a person having a religious experience, but as religious experiences are very rare this is unlikely to happen.
