The Bible condemns it. That's the only relevant objective fact.

Just because the Bible condemns it, does not mean it is objectively wrong or harmful.

But, that you are satisfied with that as a final answer suggests mindlessness.

If I'm more "clever" I'll answer it using science? Nonsense. The science is there, and it is somewhat relevant, but it's certainly not the underlying basis for sin and morality.

Obviously it isn't. The underlying basis for sin and morality, in Biblical terms, are the ancient bigotries and prejudices of bronze-age shepherds in Israel. Which, for some insane reason, continue to persist long after everybody should know better.

And maybe you don't remember God going to Sodom at Abraham's instance and not finding any righteous people except for Lot?

Of course I remember, and that is the hypocrisy of it. God condemns Sodom for not caring about the poor and needy, but he does not spare those poor and needy when it's killing time.

Who fabricated it and why?

Who knows the exact people or their motivations, and who cares? What difference does it make? It's still a fabrication.
