You can choose to look at life in one of two ways...
1. Life is a bitch and then we rot in the ground.
2. Life is amazing and the thought of it ending makes every second that bit more valuable.
Whichever way you choose to look at shit, I don't really find it has a whole lot to do with atheism. A god existing doesn't necessarily = purpose. Likewise a god not existing doesn't necessarily = no purpose.
Just face reality man, if you want to go on a downer because of that then it's your own issue. Personally I live safe in the knowledge I wont be here forever, but hey, no one else will be either.

*edit2* I edited some shit to make it more relevant, don't know why I went off on one about life after death, I guess it's kinda relevant, whatever, I'll shut up now.
