It is a picture of Antony Flew, a british philosopher who converted from atheism to theism.

Flew is mistaken, by the way. He claims he was "converted" by the Fine Tuning argument, which is an incredibly contrived and anti-scientific conclusion. Then again, Flew is a philosopher, not a scientist, so I can cut him some slack. At least he's not as arrogant as Plantinga, who believes that he knows more about physics than the physicists.

Although from an interview of his we have this "pearl":

HABERMAS: Do you think Russell, Mackie, or Ayer would have been bothered or even angered by your conversion to theism? Or do you think that they would have at least understood your reasons for changing your mind?

FLEW: I’m not sure how much any of them knew about Aristotle. But I am almost certain that they never had in mind the idea of a God who was not the God of any revealed religion.

Here he claims that Russell or Mackie didn't have the idea of a deistic god, that they didn't know about the god of Aristotle (a bold claim: every philosopher worth his salt has read the works of Artistotle). This is blatantly untrue. Russell discussed the idea of a deistic god in many of his writings. Mackie made explicit references to Artistotle.

I'm afraid that since he became a deist Anthony Flew also became a very intellectually dishonest philosopher, and this is a true shame. It also casts some serious doubts about the reasons for his committment to the deistic belief.
