Sadly, I used to. Anyway, it stands for Supreme Court Of The United States. Strange thing is, I don't think I knew what it stood for until my government teacher wrote it out in class.

I don't think it took me more than a google search, but I only learned it this year. It immediately brought to mind Duns Scotus, the medieval Christian philosopher. Despite his being believed to be the inspiration for the dunce cap, Scotus is reputed to be one of the pre-eminent philosophers of his day. (Probably analogous to a Thomas Reid.)
