I will admit some of our more 'legalistic' brothers have adopted them in their most pure form, but I would say 95% of Christianity do not strive to keep the 10 commandments.
Why? For the same reason I said before.
That said some of the commands do carry over, as they are directly mentioned in the NT again. While others do not. Matter of fact in some cases we have been intentionally liberated from keeping certain commandments. I can think of 2 off the top of my head if you want to discuss them through book chapter and verse.

Game set match.
LOL.
Now I remember why you were banned at AF.com.
This is such utter nonsense, and contradicts your OWN HOLY BOOK (what's the point in commandments if they can be ignored at will based on a loophole...sanctioned by your god?), I have no idea where to start my critique.
So I think I'll have a cup of tea and think about boning my fiancé instead.
The law serves only one purpose. It is not provide a rule that we all strive to up hold as a way to earn righteousness before God. the purpose of the law is to show that all have sinned. Meaning All have been disqualified from 'earning righteousness' through keeping the law. This conviction of sin is supposed get us to seek the attonement offered by Christ instead. This is what the 'Holy Book' actually says if one cares to study it beyond looking for a list of rules.
