The problem is that being a police officer attracts a certain kind of person who has a bully mentality. They can hit you but you can't hit back, that is the dream of every bully and that's the type of person who is attracted to the field. That's why the police are such shitty people. They take joy in making other people's lives miserable and when you actually need them they don't do shit. These cowardly fuckers would shit themselves if they were ever actually in a dangerous situation.

That's part of the problem. There's also the problem that police dno't have much in the way of accountability. There's a story that's making the rounds on trans circles over the past couple of days. It's about a drunk police officer who, because he was rejected when he 'propositioned' a trans woman, shot a car with her and some of her friends in it. Know what the court did? They gave him time served. No prison time, when had anyone else done this, they probably would have spent years behind bars.
