There's no such thing as 'true choice' when God is holding a gun to your head and will pull the trigger if you make the 'wrong' choice.

What gun? Hell? Where else can one go to seperate themselves from God. Again, for 1/3 of those created in Heaven they openly chose Hell rather than stay and serve. One persons gun is another's choice.

There are millions of people, small children and infants and everybody in the entire world outside of Israel until 2000 years ago, who had, or have, no choice at all.

You do not know that. The passage "No one comes to the Father but by me" Does not mean no one comes to the Father except though practice christianity. It means Christ will decide who goes to Heaven and who does not based on their Hearts.

Suffering physical and mental torture for all eternity is more harsh than any crime any person could possibly ever commit.

So? Now what? will you take this perceived unfairness to your judgement and try and guilt God Into giving you a pass? Understand God does not have to make things fair for you. It is the way it is, and either you adapt and work with in the boundries we have been given or you will be cast aside. This is not only true of God, but in life. Things are not always fair, nor is it promised any where that they are supposed to be. Only the sheltered feel they are entitled to a 'fair' life. It is often times the entitled who get left behind by life.

So, we should be sorry, even if there's no reason to be sorry, just so the Almighty Psychopath won't send us to hell?

Do you not understand basic repentance? To Repent means to turn from sin. You seem to be confusing conviction and repentance. conviction of sin generally leads to repentance.

Again you are speaking from a very narrow perspective. Your 'punishement' is another's choice.

Predestination renders the very idea of 'choice' invalid.

You made a huge leap how did you get to predestination from the offer of attonemnt Christ offers? Or are you trying to coast in on an old standby arguement hoping that it will work in what is being discussed here?

Again Not all do. This life has not been provided to make you love God. It has been given to you to make up your mind about Him. If you feel God unfair after only 20 some odd years imagine how you would feel after an eon. Better to make your desision now than find out you will spend eternity serving one you hate.

Remember God and I ascribe to the might makes right philosphy. Because He is in power and has complete Authority His standards do indeed trump your own.
