The "Choice" that this fictional character gives you is sick as a concept. It is no different than the choice an abusive spouse would give their partner,
Abuser "You have two choices. Stay and I won't beat you(even though I lie about that anyway), or leave and I am sure to beat you anyway."
In reality the believer does not understand that there is no god doing this to them. It is really the self abuse of not accepting that you are not property or a toy or a lab rat. It is mind slavery to a horrible concept because of the promise of false hope.
