i dont know what is written in the quran because everytime i read a translation a muslim tells me the translation is wrong. so i havent heard any message that i can understand from any source of authority relating to god.

All i know is if you commit shirk and die that sin can never be forgiven. My opinion would be you've heard of Islam you know the basics of the belief but you reject it. As you are an Atheist you have committed shirk by rejecting the existence of Allah.
