Obviously you can be too rich, if you're talking about money or some other forms of resources that you can have excessively to yourself, beyond what you can reasonably control. It's sad that it requires an argument and I can't be arsed to expound my position. Oh well.
Basically it involves explaining the old cliches that power corrupts... and of course money is a form of power....blah, blah blah, blah blah.... blah blah blah blah blah.
You can be too "free", you can have too much "freedom", in practice, in my opinion. In theory though, no, because freedom is defined as a "good thing", generally at least.... but I guess that all depends on whether you consider the connotation part of the definition!
Too much "safety"? Once again, not in theory, no, but in practice, yes.... if it stops you taking risks....
...or if it leads to you making such an effort to be "careful" or "double check" things that you start to worry excessively, get anxiety, or even develop an anxiety disorder.
Same with "happiness".... in theory, if... if.... IF everyone was happy from the beginning of the existence of every single sentient living thing capable of emotional consciousness ever and if...IF... that continued until the end of all aforementioned sentient living things capable of emotional consciousness... THEN there is no problem IN THEORY.....
However, in practice.... so-called "too much happiness" can lead to chaos, losing control and bad emotional, psychological, physical health and general folly/foolishness/lack of wisdom...
...in my opinion. No one needs to agree obviously.
By the way, I'm currently rich in happiness I reckon.... money wise however, not so much.... however I don't currently consider myself to have "not enough money" because I am currently happy and coping and I wish to live mostly "in the present moment"... or rather, my own very recently remembered past, or my own very recent attempt to predict my near future creatively and/or logically.
I am also not currently "too rich" in happiness.
