It's not about possessiveness. It's jealousy. They are quite different, despite popular opinion. Also, it is the emotional part that is the problem, not the sexual closeness. I think being intimate with other people cheapens it for me. I'll never see the point. I don't want to have sex with people I don't care about, and if I care about someone else and have sex with that person, why the hell am I in a relationship?
