Perhaps by your standards, but I don't have a range between friend intimate and lover intimate. I have intimate friends and I have lovers. The lines are never blurred for me. I either have a sexual and romantic relationship with you, a sexual friendship with you when I am single, a friendship with you or no relationship at all. It's quite simple. No complications. No confusion over other people's choices for relationships.
What's wrong with being insecure?
