The Cockatrice may not be a full on 12ft raptor, but it could have been one of it's last relatives. The point is: 'even if a rose is not call a rose it will still smells as sweet..

I've said this before, Just because we have changed the labels of what our forefathers described to us does not mean they can all just be dismissed. Removing the mystery does not mean angels and demons disappear.
