That's one thing I never quite understood about some theists, was why exactly so many of them outright deny evolution, instead of simply incorporating it into "god's plans", as they do everything else.
The theory of natural selection, which implies an exclusion of god, sure, they can't exactly claim that by virtue of its exclusion of intent, or as they like to call it these days, intelligent design, but just the phenomena of evolution on its own is perfectly suitable to be incorporated into the column of "Stuff God is responsible for".
If you believe it, question it. If you question it, get an answer. If you have an answer, does that answer satisfy reality? Does it satisfy you? Probably not. For no one else will agree with you, not really.
