Yeah, I have had this strange בתולה versus עלמה debate more times than I can count. "It should say "Behold, that woman with an intact hymen, and with child no less..."" while ignoring the second half that shows it isn't about the woman, but to have the child as a sign when the war that King Chizkiyahu was fighting will come to an end and he and his kingdom would know peace.
That's the case with all prophecies. It's called "moving the target". Like in Matthew it says a prophecy from Jeremiah, and there is no such prophecy "Well, the Jews deleted it!" or "Well, it says that Jeremiah said it, it didn't say he wrote it!" Puhleese!
