Within Swedenborgian circles it is generally believed that religions do become corrupted over time and need constant injections of God's Grace to put humanity back on track. Kind of like how the Roman Catholic Church became the Whore of Babylon (just joking ronedee)

How do you know it's not corrupted now, and in the future, a new Messenger will come with a revelation that teaches the will of God?
