Not only this, but that link has a definition for "person" which includes corporations, which is something debated to this day and is not conclusively decided. Now I do not think you are necessarily trying to imply this, but the US gov is not the be all end all of definitions. That is simply what they use for a definition when crafting certain laws and such.
