You aren't arguing that God is evil though, you are just stating it. That is what you do in every one of your posts. I am guessing you are under 20 and you have read 3 or 4 books on atheism in your life, do you know what modus tollens is? I am not trying to insult you. I wish that you could see what you look like from my perspective, I have studied atheism and Christianity and many different religions and philosophical systems throughout my life. I can assure you that atheists can be as brainwashed and ignorant as any other belief system. They can be just as dogmatic.
The word atheist does not mean "free thinker". Atheists have historically called themselves "free thinkers". They have also called themselves "intellectuals". The words obviously signify the life of the mind, which is important. However, atheists do not have any special claim to be critical thinkers, in the words of some of the atheists here, "atheism is not belief, atheism is non-belief".
Because you call yourself a "free thinker", does not actually mean that your beliefs are free or because you call yourself an "intellectual" does not mean that your beliefs originate primarily in your own intellect.
The way that you reason, it looks like you do not have the capability to do any logical argumentation at all. I feel sorry for you, because you do not realize that you are exact what you criticize Christians to be: an ignorant, brainwashed person who is over zealous over beliefs that come almost exclusively from the minds of others.
You can see evidence for this mentality in the post where you failed to catch the reference to Zeno of Elea and you failed to follow the argument that I made. I am not saying any of this because I am trying to insult you, I think you should take stock of the fact that your view of theology comes mostly from other sources than yourself and that you do not have the ability to understand the beliefs or evaluate them.
You are an atheist, but I can assure you that you are not a "free thinker" or an "intellectual". You can ascribe those labels to yourself, but that is not what you are doing when you post.
Like I said before, I love you and care deeply for your well being and spiritual condition. Read a few books from a Christian perspective. Try and understand what Christianity is. That is how you can become an intellectual or a free thinker. Calling yourself one does not make you one.
