There is evidence to suggest that we don't actually have free-will... From this, I don't believe we have free-will.
I don't believe we have natural human-rights, either.
Do gorillas have gorilla-rights? And cats have cat-rights? I think it's entirely subjective and stems from the golden rule - Would I like to be treated this way? Of course there are exceptions to that, but as a general rule it works.
