It feels like someone hit your kidney with a sledgehammer, your ears ring and you get dizzy - your vision blurs and it;s hard to remember your name. You spend some time stumbling around like a moron but most people collapse and go unconscious. Your ears ring for awhile (and it feels like someone stuck a knitting needle all the way to your brain). Alot of people piss and shit themselves before or after this point. Afterwards, everything is sore, and a pencil dropping can make you tear up without understanding why(for some).(April 19, 2013 at 10:30 pm)Violet Lilly Blossom Wrote: You kidding? Explosions and fire are fucking beautiful and interesting, manI wanna see something explode in real life. I've only seen it in movies or on the news. It would be great if it was my old elementary school. Only if the kids were out of it, of course. I don't want children to explode. Only sucky institutions.
(all of this - mind you, is from a relatively "safe" distance and/or no shrapnel or debris comes your way, a category which would include pieces of bone and teeth-and buttons)
Heard a story from a medic about a guy, by the by, who had one side or the other of his jaw shattered by a particularly nasty blast wave. Knocked out his teeth - which promptly lodged themselves in the flesh of the back f his throat. Good stuff
Just figured I'd add a little downer to the thread.
