@ Mister Agenda, my point was not addressing the heat they were experienced from the sun, it was how hot the sun is, this they could not know, they also are not able to know the sun was actually a ball of gas burning in space. Sorry to all for making my original reply confusing.
To me both are relevant, having truth, certainty and absolutes is important to live with confidence.

Your truth is not the truth. What is truth and what is reality have often been two very different things, and we're only just now understanding reality and shrugging off the notion of truth. God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
