Shocker! Some atheists vary on their own position regarding their atheism.

Yes, atheism is the disbelief in the existence of a deity. That could almost be said to be the threshold to be an atheist. SOME atheists also believe in no deity. But they still also have the position of disbelief in a deity.

EDIT: It isn't a 'law of atheism'.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
