If someone tried to knock me down, or any of my loved ones, for any reason at all but especially if they judged us to be in their way, they would have to consider doing it from a seated position in the gutter and wearing an expression of deep and pained surprise. That's not an idle boast either, as I've done exactly that in the past and have no compunctions about doing it again.
