I don't not give because God is mentioned. I gave to a homeless person the other day who said "God bless" and I didn't feel the need to say anything. He asked in a kind way so I gave him my change. The SA on the other hand forces people to go to services before they give. That's not a no-win situation, that's strings attached and therefore I don't consider it charity.
