God gave instincts more to animals, because they are not fully responsible for their deeds (there is no reward or punishments)
On the other hand god made us responsible for our actions so we need to learn then act.
don't you see that instincts should be more sophisticated in us as we are more advanced, it is not the case.

I think it should be completed with real experiments where you raise a number of cats without seeing a Scorpion then test them with some with other pointing objects
I'm sure that they still act the same.
