Um..he actually made a career out of finding witty ways to express complaints and feelings of hostility. Any old asshole could be angry, but I don't see you or I - for example- signing books. Is the world a better place without him - sure, insomuch as the world is always a better place when ideas and people come and go - diversity and variety - but would it have been a better place having never had him? No...no more so than it would be a better place for having never had you or I- imho.
