Christianity is Freedom. Freedom from the Law as our only means to righteousness. (The state of being needed to enter Heaven.) With this true form of freedom we have the ablity to change to fit whatever situation or belief system we need to in order to go about what we have been commissioned to do. With this freedom we have the power to free ourselves from the law of religious practices and we also have the ablity to bind ourself down to whatever religious practices we deem practical. Christ said it like this: "What we bind on Earth (Make laws to on earth) will be bound for us in Heaven, and what we loose here on Earth will be loosed in Heaven."
So to answer your core question will Christianity change or adapt to follow truth? Yes, we have the freedom to change everything but the Law of God to help us worship and Love God with all of our being.

Quote:I mean, some of these sections like the commandments for the most part are very very outdated. If they are to maintain followers or gain any (ugh), they ought to learn and use that understanding effectively.I agree. The commandments were recorded for OT Jews, and not New Testament Christianity.
