OK, I'll play like everyone else. My paternal Grandmother and her family are all from Aberdeenshire ("Royal Deeside"... tossers); my paternal Grandfather and his family are all from Kerry, Ireland; my maternal Grandmother's family were from Kilkenny, Ireland on her mother's side and Waterford, Ireland on her fathers side (they all moved over here when my great-grandmother was pregnant with my grandmother and her twin); my maternal Grandfather is from London, I can trace his mother's family back to the same few streets around where I now work as far back as the 18th century, and another line on his mother's side back to 15th Century Cornwall, I'm fairly confident they're all English, his father was from Coldstream, Berwickshire, right on the Borders and his father was from Glasgow and his mother from Edinburgh.
I'm English though. Born and raised in London.
