Employers are supposed to make reasonable accommodations for religious beliefs (ie: you can't fire a Jew for refusing to work on Saturdays), though this might only apply to larger employers. Firing someone for praying is setting yourself up for a lawsuit. And asking potential enployees what their religious beliefs are is discriminatory. I hope you have a good lawyer.
