I have the same experience in talking to my atheist acquaintances. I might make a certain contention, and the reply is almost always "I respect your theism. Why can't you respect my atheism?" As if my disagreeing with them is, in itself, disrespectful. Humbug I say.
Fucking liar. Almost always? You don't many atheists, do you?
Atheists, almost always, don't respect your theism; they respect your right to have whatever dicked up belief you hold. Huge fucking difference.
Yeah, I just lied because I just love being dishonest because I'm a theist and that's just what we do.
Could you do me a favor and actually read my post please... slowly? I was talking about my atheist acquaintances. Perhaps they aren't particularly intelligent atheists. What of it? I'm certainly not presuming that all atheists are like them.
Why the vitriol?

What makes you think I don't hate that too?
No, I get you. I was actually agreeing with you. What is it about my post that is being taken as me implying that you don't hate that just like I do?
I feel like whatever I post, people on here are assuming that I am disagreeing with them, and I just get a big "Well fuck you!" in return. lol!

No biggie though. Guess I just need to be clearer and say "I agree with you."
