If "sin" is part of what you are (according to christianity, we are apparently all "born into it", lol), without it, IMO, you cannot be you anymore, part of your "soul" would be missing, forever, which implies: one person before eternal life, another person later ...
Why does it matters than to believers if you are not a same person in afterlife ?
