Is it discrimination to ask for one's religion?

This is the Internet... All we have to go on is what you say and how you present yourself. You aren't an established member, and I believe this is your first thread... And what a first thread! It's like walking into a bar you've never been to before and loudly stating some derogatory/discriminatory statement about a group of people. Your comments probably wouldn't be taken well in that context either. All of this backlash is because we have no context of you other than what you've given us to go on. So give us something else to counterbalance it instead of becoming defensive. Just an idea.
